According to Variety, Al Pacino is set to star in "Arbitrage" alongside Eva Green and Susan Sarandon. The thriller will be directed by Nicholas Jarecki and will begin production next spring. Producers for the film include Michael Ohoven, Kevin Turen and Robert Salerno.
In the movie, Pacino will play a hedge fund magnate who is trying to cover up his fraud. Unlikely circumsances force him to seek help from his rivals.
Al Pacino returns to Broadway in THE MERCHANT OF VENICE at The Public Theatre, where he played Marcus Antonius in Stuart Vaughan's production of Julius Caesar (1988). On Broadway, he won Tony Awards for his performances in Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie? and The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel and appeared in Camino Real, Richard III, American Buffalo, Chinese Coffee, Hughie (which he also directed), and two productions of Salome (1992 and 2003).
