Pace University presents EDITH performed by Jil Aigrot, the voice of Edith Piaf in the Award-winning film La Vie en Rose. Remembering the 50th anniversary of the passing of Piaf, the concert is set for today, November 1 and Saturday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m.
Ms. Aigrot's tour-de-force concert performance will transport audience members to Paris' most famous artistic neighborhood, Montmartre, taking them through the various stages of Edith Piaf's spectacular career. In conjunction with never-before-seen footage of Piaf's life, Ms. Aigrot's voice is sure to captivate and enthrall audiences.
Jil Aigrot was discovered by Ginou Richer, Edith Piaf's close friend and personal secretary. Shortly after their meeting, Jil Aigrot was chosen to be the singing voice of the great Edith Piaf in Olivier Dahan's award-winning film, La Vie en Rose.
