Impressionism and Post-Impressionism

Monet, Renoir, Degas, van Gogh, Gauguin, Cezanne, Seurat. Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artists depicted subjects from daily life, but while the Impressionists painted in terms of light and atmospheric conditions, the Post-Impressionists used color to express emotion and to analyze pictorial structure.
