The Professional Theatre Awards Council (PTAC), presenter of the annual Kevin Kline Awards ceremony, is now accepting applications for judges to evaluate St. Louis theatre productions beginning in January 2009.

Approximately 20 judges will be selected to serve a three-year rotating term.  Each judge receives two complimentary tickets to anywhere from 12 to 20 shows assigned to them annually. Fifty-five judges evaluated more than 100 shows in 2008.

If you are interested in applying to be judge, please visit the PTAC website (www.kevinklineawards.org).  If you have any questions, contact Maureen O'Brien (maureen@kevinklineawards.org) or call 314/531-7529.  The deadline to apply is Oct. 19.

The PTAC was formed in 2004 to heighten awareness of theater in St. Louis by educating, youth, building audience awareness and honoring excellence.  This year's theatrical season includes performances by 40 professional companies in the St. Louis area.
