The Tony Award® winning smash hit PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, produced by "The Divine Miss M" Bette Midler, will host an exclusive trivia contest with NBC 4 New York's "Meg-A-Phone" on Saturday, October 22, 2011 between 9-10AM. Five finalists will each win a pair of tickets to PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT on Broadway. The grand prize winner will receive round-trip travel from New York to famed Uluru (Ayers Rock) in Australia's Northern Territory - the setting for the Broadway show; hotel accommodations for five nights; and a touring itinerary for the trip, including some of Australia's most iconic landMark Destinations such as Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kings Canyon and Alice Springs. PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT is the most successful Australian musical of all time, and the lucky grand prize winner will get to experience first-hand many of the landmarks visited in the show.
To enter the contest, tune in to "Meg-A-Phone" on Saturday, October 22, 2011 between 9-10AM and play a live interactive trivia game on your mobile phone for your chance to win. Contestants will be polled on trivia questions related to PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT and general Australian trivia. The lucky five finalists will be invited to a performance of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT on Broadway at a later date where the grand prize winner will be randomly selected and announced on stage at the end of the show.
