Hamilton fans were sent into a tizzy yesterday when a photo emerged on Twitter featuring what appears to be TONY host James Corden and Hamilton star and creator Lin-Manuel Miranda filming Corden's popular 'Carpool Karaoke' segment, which airs regularly on CBS's LATE LATE SHOW.
Posted by astute Hamilton fan Jessie Fant, the picture clearly shows Miranda in the passenger seat of a car with a camera attached to the front window. While it is not quite as clear who the driver is, it does appear to be the profile of Corden. The question remains - is this a sketch which will appear on the TONY AWARDS, airing June 12th on CBS, or will it emerge as an upcoming segment on Corden's popular late night talk show? Stay tuned!HOLY CRAP!!!! A Hamilton CARPOOL KARAOKE IS ON ITS WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pic.twitter.com/gnt8chniLj
