The annual charity soccer match featuring West End stalwarts from two long-running staples, LES MISERABLES and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, along with numerous notable soccer stars playing side by side occured this weekend and PHANTOM won the match.

The final score was 4-3 according to the post on the official page, with the complete message as follows: "HUGE thank you to everyone who came to support us at Les Mis V Phantom: The Reprise yesterday, and to everyone who donated to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young! In the end, team Phantom triumphed, winning 4-3, and we are incredibly proud of everyone involved! There's still time to donate..."

Of note, so far 6472.94 GBP has been raised of a 5000.00 GBP goal.

The official description of LES MIS V PHANTOM: THE HAT-TRICK is as follows: "Les Mis V Phantom is back and this year it is our aim to make it bigger and better and raise even more money for charity. As many of you will know, our inspiration for starting this event, Melanie Oakley-Dow, sadly lost her battle with cancer at the end of last year. She is extremely missed by her family and all who knew her and LES MISERABLES is not the same without her. We will be playing this years match in her memory, hence our goal in making this years match the best one yet! As well as raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young, we will also be donating some proceeds from the day to Mel's charities, Macmillan Cancer Research and Ellenor Lions Hospices. Read more about the three charities below."

LES MIS V PHANTOM: THE HAT-TRICK occured on August 3.
