Without further ado, here is your new board of directors.
Lori Garcia, President. Lori is a litigation paralegal with almost 15 year of experience. Currently, she is the Operations Team Lead with Bank of America. Lori attends Texas Women's University working on obtaining her second degree, this one in Business Management. She volunteers at her church, at the Samaritan Inn, at the Plano Independent School District, and at her PTA. She is currently the President of Youth Arts of Collin County, a non-profit organization formed to assist theatres throughout the metroplex reach their monetary goals and requirements. Lori has been consistently amazed at the wonderful outreach into the community PCT has always had and looks forward to being a part of its reputation and history.
Jamee Cutillo. Jamee studied business organization and administration as well as teaching before pursuing a career in the television industry. She worked for an NBC affiliate in Orlando, Florida as a research director for 15 years before creating the research department at a Warner Brothers affiliate. This is her fourth year on the Wells Elementary PTA Board. She was named Volunteer of the Year for 2008-2009 and was just voted to receive a Lifetime Membership to Plano ISD PTA. She has helped in the PCT office, and plans to create, with the input of all PCT directors and staff, a "show parent manual" and workshop.
Elly Marsh. Elly has been with HP/EDS for 23 years, the most recent 10 years in Product Management and Marketing. She currently manages marketing for a line of business at HP that is a $6 billion / year business. As a result of the success of this business strategy, marketing, and sales, this line of business holds the number two position in global market share. She is a Sunday school teacher and also volunteers with several organizations, including the Samaritan Inn, Boy Scouts, and various parent association roles at her children's school. Her previous board experience is as a board member of the Alliance Francaise of Dallas. She greatly appreciates the opportunities that PCT has offered the community for almost two decades and continues to be impressed at the wonderful performances, as well as reputation and heritage that PCT has in the community. She plans to apply her business and marketing background to help promote PCT to an even higher position in the community, one that is respected and sought after both for its enrichment of our children, and the delight of premier theatrical performances.
Patricia DellaPorta. Patricia is a Supervisor in the Customer Trade Accounting group at Dr Pepper Snapple Group. She has been a CPA for twenty years and worked in various roles in both the Finance and Accounting fields. Her work experience includes twenty years in publicly held corporations in which she held various positions such Auditor, Financial Analyst, Assistant Controller and Manager of General Accounting. She also has five years of experience working at Fort Bend Independent School District (FBISD), a non-profit organization. As a result of her experience at FBISD, she understands how critical it is to manage the budget and ensure dollars are spent wisely. Furthermore, she believes that with her finance experience that she can provide input and support that will help PCT continue to prosper and provide for the needs of the children of the community.
Kendra Lara. Kendra has been with Jackson Hewitt Tax Service for 15 years. As the franchise Federal Compliance Designee, Kendra oversees compliance with all legal requirements governing Internal Revenue Service Code tax preparation and works closely with the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigations Division to combat fraud. Kendra currently holds a publicly elected position as Treasurer on the Board of a non-profit, Trinity Trail Preservation Association. Kendra has been recognized locally and nationally for her visual art talent, receiving numerous awards. She plans to apply her financial, tax and non-profit experience to promote PCT to more stable financial position, making PCT the number one local non-profit organization to financially contribute to.
Deborah Dobozy. Deborah has 15 years of experience as a CPA. She is a partner at Sal Olimpio & Co. P.C. a CPA firm that she has worked at for 10 years, and previously served as Financial Analyst at Gardere & Wynne. She specializes in individual and partnership taxation. Her volunteer experience includes serving on one of the fundraising committees (SCRIP) for her child's school; volunteering at Frisco Family Services food bank; and serving eight years for Big Brothers & Big Sisters as both a big sister-mentor, and as the spokesperson at the Plano chapters recruitment and orientation meetings. She wants to help PCT expand the number of productions offered and increase its funding.
Allison Basile. Allison has a B.F.A. from The University of Texas at Austin. She has worked in the advertising and graphic design industry for 25 years and has been self-employed for the past 23 years. She was named Volunteer of the Year for her work in 2002 from SpringPark Homeowners Association and Volunteer of the Year from the Big Springs Elementary PTA for the 2007-2008 school year. For the past seven years she has served as team manager for her child's soccer team in the Garland Soccer Association and is currently serving as Vice-president for the Richardson Gymnastics Team. She wants to serve PCT so that PCT can continue its nurturing, learning environment for all children.
Annie Hall. Annie has an MBA from Baylor University. She owns her own business, Annie's Culinary Creations. Her past work experience include positions as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for various companies in the financial services, health care, and hospitality industries. She has served on the board of directors of many corporations, including First Financial Corp, First Preference Mortgage Corporation, and Security Bancshares, Inc. She plans to provide creative ideas to enhance Plano Children's Theater public perception, image, and status.
Alison Taylor. Allison was a theatre major at Boston University and worked as a professional actor at the regional level for 10 years. During this time she appeared in such classics as SHEAR MADNESS and TONY AND TINA'S WEDDING. She then worked in the film/commercial sector in Orlando before moving to Plano in 2003. She has been Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator at a local private school for five years. She has also been a class teacher at PCT. She serves on the Religious Education board at her church and is a cub scout leader for 7 years running.
PC Christopher. PC has an MBA degree from Vanderbilt University and recently joined Avaya Communications after 20 years with Nortel Networks. Over the years, PC has specialized in many areas of organizational effectiveness and efficiency. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and also certified in Change Acceleration Protocol. PC is a former PCT Board of Director President and has been involved with PCT and MYT since 2005.
Ben Sheahan. Ben has a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He is currently an Analog Design Engineer at Linear Technology. Before joining Linear Technology, he worked at Texas Instruments for 18 years and at National Semiconductor for 3 years. His volunteer work includes helping the poor through Saint Vincent De Paul Society, a Catholic organization. He brings his creative business experience and strong culture of honesty and integrety to help PCT's mission.
Elaine Alsup. Elaine is Owner and President of River Tan Boutique. Prior to starting her own business, she had seven years in Human Resources with the cities of Forney and Rowlett. Her volunteer experience includes GISD and Girl Scouts. She has served on the board of directors of her homeowner's association and the Rowlett Women's Club. She is looking forward to helping PCT to remain the best community theater in the metroplex and a place where children can develop their acting skills.
Elizabeth Aviles. Elizabeth worked as a registered nurse for ten years. Her volunteer work includes Live Green in Plano, children's programs in her church, and Bloomingdale Theater. She is passionate about her work, creative, and would like to help PCT keep growing and providing children with the opportunity to act and to learn.
