Newman and Oltman Guitar Duo. The Newman & Oltman Guitar Duo, critically acclaimed Mannes Ensemble-in-Residence, presents an annual recital and master class at Mannes College, The New School for Music. February 8, 7:30 p.m. at Mannes College Concert Hall, 150 West 85th Street, New York NY 10024.
Orion String Quartet 3. The Orion String Quartet, Mannes Ensemble-in-Residence and one of the most sought-after ensembles in the United States, offers four free concerts a year at Mannes, The New School for Music. Mannes Orchestra at Alice Tully Hall Spring Concert. Mannes Orchestra plays at Alice Tully Hall as part of its exciting 2014/2015 season schedule. The collaborative piano department at Mannes, The New School for Music presents a performance of art songs featuring graduate pianists and singers from its critically acclaimed voice department. Mannes in Unison Spring Concert. Mannes in Unison is an opportunity for Mannes College, The New School for Music students, faculty, and alumni to perform together. This program will include Janacek's Pohdadka and String Quartet No. 2; and Dvorak's Slavonic Dances and Piano Quartet in E-flat.
