KT's Crash Chorus and Opera on Tap join forces with renowned East Village wine bar, Von, for an enjoyable evening of communal opera-music making.
One night workshop for all, regardless of experience. Participants will explore their voices, become the a cappella accompaniment to a real-life Opera on Tap diva and learn an opera chorus. Tickets are $30 to participate and include Happy Hour drink specials until 9pm. Participants can Invite their friends to come watch the 9pm performance for just $5. See the 'Encore Ticket'.

Kristen Toedtman (KT) is a singer of many styles, committed to inspiring others to sing. She directs the Community Chorus at Peabody in Baltimore, has worked with Urban Voices Project (singers who live and work on Skid Row in LA) and most recently led singers at a health clinic in the Dominican Republic. She has served as Music Director for churches on both coasts and led clinics on singing throughout the US. As a performer, she is a longtime member of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, has appeared as soloist with that group as well as with Musica Angelica, the Corona del Mar Baroque orchestra, the Britt Festival Orchestra, Concert Artists of Baltimore and will appear next as soloist with the LA Phil performing John Adams' Grand Pianola Music with Adams conducting (2019). As a session singer, she has sung on the soundtracks of Frozen, Minions, Despicable Me 3, Godzilla & others. She is also a regular on the singer-songwriter circuit singing with others and leading her band and choir from the piano, playing original songs in the Americana gospel-style tradition at the Hotel Cafe and Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles, and Pianos and Rockwood Music Hall in NYC.
