On Que Entertainment Accepting Submission for SCENE IT Competition, 5/29

On Que Entertainment & Pluto Productions are currently on a nation wide search for submissions for SCENE IT! 2010: a new musical theatre competition featuring the best talents of up and coming writers, composers, lyricists, and librettists taking place in a special one night only performance in September 2010. A panel of celebrity judges and industry professionals will adjudicate each scene and ultimately come to a decision as to who should receive a grant to assist in the future development of their show and take home the SCENE IT! 2010 trophy.

The goal is to offer a platform for undiscovered writers to introduce their work to the general public as well as industry professionals who may be able to offer them advice and potential opportunities to help advance their careers.

On Que Entertainment is a New York-based theatre, film, and special events company founded by Broadway Stage Manager Michael T. Clarkston in 2001. On Que Entertainment has quickly grown to become an "A-List" company enlisting talent from Broadway, Television, Film and the Music Industry for clients such as JC Penney, Old Navy, Google, Conde Nast, Sony, Seventeen Magazine, Masterbeat.com in addition to lending their services for numerous benefits for BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS, THE ACTORS FUND, VILLAGE CARES NY, THE POINT FOUNDATION and FINDFRED.COM.

Submitted scenes can not be longer than 10 minutes in length and must be from a completed musical that has not been published, produced, or performed. Any submissions over 10 minutes in length will be disqualified.
