'Oh The Humanity' Extended at The Flea thru Feb.2

The Flea Theater has extended its critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production of Oh, Humanity and other good intentions. This World Premiere by Pulitzer Prize finalist Will Eno is directed by Jim Simpson. Originally scheduled to end December 22, performances have been extended through February 2, 2008.

Oh, Humanity and other good intentions is five short plays about people like you, facing lives like yours. About life, in a word. Not suitable for children. The five pieces include: Behold the Coach, In a Blazer, Uninsured; Ladies and Gentleman, The Rain; Enter the Spokeswoman, Gently; The Bully Composition; and Oh, The Humanity.

The production stars Brian Hutchison (The Invention of Love and Proof on Broadway) and Christina Kirk (Well, [sic], God's Ear, Nobody's Lunch) who replaces Marisa Tomei beginning January 15. It also features an appearance by Drew Hildebrand. The production team includes sets by Kyle Chepulis, lighting by Brian Aldous, costumes by Claudia Brown, sound by Jill BC DuBoff, and video/projection by Dustin O'Neill.

Oh, Humanity and other good intentions runs January 15 - February 2, Tuesday - Saturday at 7pm and Saturday matinees at 3pm. Running time is 1 hour. The Flea Theater, is located at 41 White Street (between Broadway & Church Streets).
