The themes of addiction, love - lost, anger and regret are ever present in the lives of the women in her family. She vows to break the vicious cycle, but learns that food alone cannot undo generations of a?iction.

The use of dance, spoken word poetry and original music are incorporated into the piece, as is the use of some Spanish monologues with English supertitles. 100 % of the proceeds will go to The Maria Fund to support grassroots organizations such as organization Boricua de Agricultura Eco - Organica which supports the farmers and their efforts to regrow healthy crops.
