Roundabout Theatre Company's Tony-nominated revival of On the Twentieth Century, which opened to widespread critical acclaim on Broadway, is now extended by two weeks through July 19, 2015 only, and the new Broadway Cast Recording is out today, May 19, via PS Classics.

On the Twentieth Century reunites Roundabout Theatre Company with PS Classics co-founder & album producer Tommy Krasker, following the recording of the Tony Award-nominated revival of Violet last season. Tommy also helmed the Grammy-nominated cast albums of Roundabout's productions of Nine, Assassins and Sondheim on Sondheim. This album marks the eighth collaboration between Roundabout Theatre Company and PS Classics. This album is made possible in part through the generosity of Elizabeth Armstrong and Ted and Mary Jo Shen.

Tony nominee Kristin Chenoweth and Peter Gallagher star in On the Twentieth Century with Tony nominee Andy Karl, Mark Linn-Baker, Michael McGrath and Mary Louise Wilson.

Directed by seven-time Tony nominee Scott Ellis and choreographed by Tony winner Warren Carlyle, the Broadway revival of On the Twentieth Century includes music by Cy Coleman, and book & lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. On the Twentieth Century is based on plays by Ben Hecht, Charles MacArthur & Bruce Millholland. The original Broadway production was directed by Harold Prince.

On the Twentieth Century opened officially on March 15, 2015 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). The strictly limited engagement has been extended through July 19, 2015.

2015 Tony nominee Kristin Chenoweth, who stars as Lily Garland, is set to co-host the 69th Annual Tony Awards on June 7, with Tony winner Alan Cumming.

On the Twentieth Century is the most nominated revival of the 2014-2015 season, including five Tony Award nominations: Best Revival of a Musical, Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical (Kristin Chenoweth), Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical (Andy Karl), Scenic Design of a Musical (David Rockwell) and Costume Design of a Musical (William Ivey Long); four Drama Desk nominations: Outstanding Revival, Actress in a Musical (Kristin Chenoweth,) Featured Actor in a Musical (Andy Karl) and Choreography (Warren Carlyle); nine Outer Critic Circle nominations: Outstanding Revival of a Musical, Leading Actress in a Musical (Kristin Chenoweth), Actor in a Musical (Peter Gallagher), Featured Actor in a Musical (Andy Karl), Featured Actress in a Musical (Mary Louise Wilson), Director of a Musical (Scott Ellis), Set Design (David Rockwell) and Costume Design (William Ivey Long); and two Drama League Distinguished Performance Award nominations for Kristin Chenoweth and Andy Karl.

The cast of On the Twentieth Century also includes Phillip Attmore, Justin Bowen, Preston Truman Boyd, Paula Leggett Chase, Ben Crawford, Rick Faugno, Jenifer Foote, Bahiyah Hibah, Drew King, Analisa Leaming, Kevin Ligon, Erica Mansfield, James Moye, Linda Mugleston, Mamie Parris, Andy Taylor, Jim Walton and Richard Riaz Yoder.

The creative team includes Tony nominee David Rockwell (Sets), Tony nominee William Ivey Long (Costumes), Donald Holder (Lights), Jon Weston (Sound), Kevin Stites (Musical Director), Larry Hochman (Orchestrations) and David Krane (Dance Arrangements & Incidental Music).

It's nonstop laughs aboard the Twentieth Century, a luxury coach travelling from Chicago to New York City. Luck, love and mischief collide when the bankrupt theater producer Oscar Jaffee (Gallagher) embarks on a madcap mission to cajole glamorous Hollywood starlet Lily Garland (Chenoweth) into playing the lead in his new, non-existent epic drama. But is the train ride long enough to reignite the spark between these former lovers, create a play from scratch, and find the money to get it all the way to Broadway?
