Olga began her painting career after immigrating from Russia following the collapse of the Soviet Union. She attributes her success to teachers and mentors such as Hazel King, who surrounded and inspired Olga during her self discovery and realization period. Hazel encouraged Olga to view the world from a very new and different perspective. "It was the opening to a world of color and dreams," she recalls.
Olga has used the lessons of her teachers to create works of art that reflect her inner world, memories, trials, and victories. "Being an immigrant growing up in the Soviet Union, I never dreamed about being an artist or even a gallery owner," she explains. "I am forever grateful to my teachers and mentors like Hazel King, Gayle Levee, and Chad Boyd." The invitation only celebration on November 20th is in honor of these special people, who have contributed to Olga becoming one of Nashville's most well respected artists.Videos
