The Northport Rotary Club is sponsoring its second annual "Winter Soiree" Saturday, February 28 at the John W. Engeman Theater, 250 Main Street, Northport, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. All proceeds from this evening of musical performances will benefit the Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk, Inc. (last year's event raised over $10,000).
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by a number of talented locals including Bank of Smithtown's and Northport Rotary President-elect Teri George.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres (provided by The Crossroads Cafe) and piano music by Ann Stevens in the Green Room Piano Bar and Lounge.
The main entertainment, featuring Teri George and the Connection will begin at 8:00 p.m. on the main stage. Joining Ms. George will be Tim Foley on drums; Greg Gullotti on bass; Frank Doyle on Piano/keyboards; Jimmy Halprin on saxophone and Dr. Pat Matos- Puentes on Oboe.
After the performance dessert and coffee provided by Copenhagen Bakery will be enjoyed while listening to the wonderful sounds of "A Little Somethin", featuring guitarists
Jim Ryan and Scott Gordon.
