Broadway veteran Norm Lewis will present an evening of Broadway standards and popular songs at Joe's Pub at The Public Theatre, entitled "Just Chillin': An Evening with Norm Lewis" to benefit The Actors' Fund of America (www.actorsfund.org) on Monday, May 9th, at 7pm and 9:30pm.

A veteran of such Broadway shows as CHICAGO, AMOUR, THE WILD PARTY, MISS SAIGON, and THE WHO'S TOMMY, Norm can currently be seen in Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's new musical DESSA ROSE at Lincoln Center.

"I've been asked to do a cabaret for years but I always felt like I had to have a statement to make. But what I really want to do is sing some songs that I've always wanted to sing as well as some that I've performed before," explains Norm. "These are songs that I've grown up with or have touched me in some way. I really want to just have an intimate, fun night with the audience. The evening isn't long enough for everything that I'd like to do, however I want people to get to know me and this is definitely the best way."
