Noree Performing Arts will present its Annual Festival, Ga-Mu (dance & music), sparked with Korean cultural elements & contemporary dance & music, on Saturday, April 29th at 7:30pm at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center.

Helmed by Artistic Director, EUN SUNG LEE, Noree Performing Arts brings this internationally acclaimed dancer & choreographer's experience to this very special, one-night-only event. You will experience performances of cultural dance, Laban inspired movements, and American contemporary music.
Noree Performing Arts, founded in New York City in 2014, is led by a group of Korean artists with diverse music & dance trainings, including traditional Korean dance, ballet, modern & contemporary dance. Noree is a Korean word translated variously as play, games, amusement, entertainment & recreation. Noree is a basic part of human nature, a universal language that every culture shares & appreciates. We seek to share the concept of Noree through our dance & music performance.
EUN SUNG LEE is a Certified Movement Analyst through the Laban/Bartenieff Institute for Movement Studies in NYC & is trained in ballet, modern & Korean traditional dance. Her unique fusion of styles in her figurative dance expressions allows her to replicate tangible emotions. Ms. Lee has appeared both nationally & internationally & throughout the United States, from New York City's Dixon Place to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to the Open Stage (the Korean Cultural Service NY). Ms. Lee's movement has been featured in an internationally screened film, Arirang Blues, the Dance for Camera, directed by the filmmaker & visual artist Pyeunghun Baik, with the film appearing in the theatres, festival & galleries such as the Dance Conversation at the Flea Theater, KAFFNY at Chelsea Cinema, the Festival of International Video Art in Buenos Aires, Argentina & the Santa Fe Museum.
