Norbert Leo Butz New Netflix Drama BLOODLINE to Debut in March

As BWW previously reported, Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz will star in a new Netflix original series. Today Netflix revealed that the drama, titled BLOODLINE, will premiere with all 13 episodes exclusively in all Netflix territories in March.

Butz will portray the youngest sibling, Kevin, described as "extroverted and charming owner of a boat repair yard who considers himself the 'unofficial mayor' of his small coastal town".

Created and executive produced by Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman, and Glenn Kessler, the series also stars: Kyle Chandler ("Friday Night Lights"), Ben Mendelsohn ("The Dark Knight Rises"), Linda Cardellini ("Mad Men"), Sam Shepard ("The Right Stuff"), Sissy Spacek ("Carrie"), Jamie McShane ("Sons of Anarchy"), Jacinda Barrett ("Suits") and Enrique Murciano ("Without a Trace").

Set in the Florida Keys, Bloodline centers on a close-knit family of four adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home.

Norbert Leo Butz's big screen credits include Better Living Through Chemistry, The English Teacher, Disconnect, Greetings from Tim Buckley, Higher Ground, Dan in Real Life and more. On TV, Butz has appeared in the movies County, The Miraculous Year and Playing Chicken, as well as the series Blue Bloods, The Good Wife, CSI, The Deep End, Law & Order and more.

The actor most recently appeared on Broadway in 2013's Big Fish and previously appeared on the Great White Way in Dead Accounts, opposite Katie Holmes, Catch Me If You Can, for which he won a 2011 Tony Award, Enron, Speed-the-Plow, Is He Dead?, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (another Tony win in 2005), Wicked, Thou Shalt Not and Rent.
