Nora’s Playhouse Presents THE FALLEN, 7/18-21

Nora's Playhouse (Caroline Reddick Lawson, Artistic Director) announced that it will present The Fallenby Yasmine Beverly Rana July 18 through 21, 2012 at the Jerry H. Labowitz Theatre for the Performing Arts at the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study (1 Washington Place at Broadway). Caroline Reddick Lawson (The War Zone is My Bed, Looking Glass Theatre; former Director of Education at New York Theatre Workshop) will direct the production.

The Fallen gives breath to the haunting stories of the Bosnian War. Spanning twenty years, the play reveals the lingering repercussions of the conflict while ricocheting from the rooftops of Sarajevo to the balconies of Turin to the art galleries of London.  The production coincides with the current Bosnian War crimes trials.

The creative team includes Katie Fry (scenic design), Kristen Kopp (costume design), Kia Rogers (lighting design), Janie Bullard(sound design), Julie M. Mason (production manager), Jackie Honeybourne (technical director), Jenn Haltman (casting director),Kathryn Wilson (assistant to the director) and Dennis Dalelio (art design). Emily J. Richard serves as the stage manager.

The production stars Sanja Danilovi? as Sabine, Joe Tuttle as Andrej, Caroline Tamas as Anais, Christopher J. Domig as Dejan, Jen Taher as Mirela and Brian Miskell as Carlo.

Performances of The Fallen run July 18 through 21, Wednesday through Friday at 8:00 pm and Saturday at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm, at theJerry H. Labowitz Theatre for the Performing Arts at NYU Gallatin School for Individualized Study (1 Washington Pl. at Broadway; Subway: N/R to 8^th St. or 6 to Astor Place).
