No Name producer Eric Vetter brings the popular Uptown Cabaret monthly singers showcase to the Word Up Bookshop in Washington Heights for a special fun filled evening on Thursday, January 21 at 7:00pm.

Hosted by the multi-talented Alex De Suze, whose background includes acting, directing and singing at venues throughout the NYC-metro area, the show will also include musical director Mark Oleszko.

Vetter, who has produced shows at alternative venues and performance spaces throughout the city for over 20 years, called the Uptown Cabaret a great opportunity for singers, composers and lyricists to share their art in a safe and fun place. The monthly show, which was situated in Inwood for 4.5 years, featured such stellar talents as Amanda Baker, Joshua Cohen, Brown Furlow and Greta Herron.

Admission is FREE, donations welcomed. Word Up Community Bookshop/Libreria Communitaria is located at 2113 Amsterdam Avenue (corner of 165th Street) in Manhattan. Subways: A, C or #1 train to 168th Street (walk south to 165th St, turn left, then walk east to Amsterdam Avenue). For additional information, go to: wordupbooks.com or call (347)688-4456.
