Despite rumors and talks that the show might extend or close and re-open, it's been the critically acclaimed limited run of A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE starring Liev Schreiber and Scarlett Johansson directed by Gregory Mosher will end Sunday, April 4. A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE played on Broadway at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Previews began December 28, 2009 and it opened January 24, 2010.
Schreiber and Johansson are joined by Jessica Hecht, Michael Cristofer, Morgan Spector, Corey Stoll, Alex Cendese, Anthony DeSando, Antoinette Lavecchia, Mark Morettini, Joe Ricci, Robert Turano and Marco Verna.
In A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, Miller's most passionate drama, Schreiber plays Eddie Carbone, a Brooklyn longshoreman obsessed with his 17-year-old niece Catherine, played by Scarlett Johansson. When Catherine falls in love with a newly arrived immigrant, Eddie's jealousy erupts in a rage that consumes him, his family, and his world.
A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE is produced by Stuart Thompson and The Araca Group.
