Nina Lannan, Maggie Brohn, Amy Jacobs, and Devin Keudell are proud to announce the formation of Bespoke Theatricals LLC as successor to Nina Lannan Associates. The new partnership, to begin operations on September 5th, will continue to supply executive producer and general management services to a variety of theatrical productions including Mamma Mia!, Billy Elliot, the upcoming musicals this season of Bonnie and Clyde, Ghost, the revival of EVITA and the play Magic/Bird. Future productions include several new musicals and plays in development; among these Empire, Viva Forever, Mad Hot Ballroom, and Motown, based on the life of Berry Gordy, Jr.
Nina Lannan Associates was formed in 1997 by
Nina Lannan after working for The Really Useful Company and previously, the esteemed partnership of
Gatchell and Neufeld, Ltd. The four principals of Bespoke Theatricals have worked together since the 1990's. As
Nina Lannan said, "Our current partnership merely formalizes a working relationship that has been in effect for many years. Our history of working together on numerous productions has given us a strength and depth of knowledge that we will continue to bring to every production upon which we work."
The four principals have long been associated with musicals including 9 to 5 - The Musical, Legally Blonde, The Color Purple, the
Bernadette Peters revival of Gypsy (2003), Thoroughly Modern Millie, Annie Get Your Gun, The Capeman, and Cats. The plays they have worked on include A Behanding in Spokane, the recent revival of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof (2008), The Pillowman, Salome, A Thousand Clowns and The Green Bird. They pioneered the use of the Equity tiered contract on the successful tour of Legally Blonde and have further gone on to manage several tours under the Equity tier and SET agreements. They have further worked with the Equity MSUA, LORT, and casino contracts, the latter on the six-year run of Mamma Mia! in Las Vegas.
While focusing on work in the United States, including nine pre-Broadway engagements in cities as diverse as Atlanta, Durham, LaJolla, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and St. Louis, they have also handled the licensed productions of CATS and Mamma Mia! in Mexico, Brazil, and soon in Argentina.
Nina is past Chair of The Broadway League and Maggie, Amy and Devin are active in the organization as well as members of the Labor and Intra Industry Committees and past chairs of the Annual Spring Road Conferences. All four are active participants in collective bargaining between the League and the theatrical unions. Associates in the firm include
Steve Dow, David Roth, and Danielle Saks.
