Two very lucky girls will have their dreams of performing on Broadway come true when they win the chance to perform as "Young Fiona" and "Teen Fiona" alongside Tony Award-winner Sutton Foster in a performance of the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award-winning SHREK THE MUSICAL.

Beginning Tuesday, July 28th, young ladies ages 6 to 14 interested in pursuing their stage dreams can go to the www.Nick.com/princess website where they can upload a video of their performance of the song "I Know It's Today" from SHREK THE MUSICAL. Materials will be accepted through Sunday, August 16th.

For more information and rules, as well as an introduction from SHREK THE MUSICAL star Sutton Foster, visit www.Nick.com/princess.

All entries will be viewed by the casting department for the show, with finalists' entries viewed by Jason Moore (Director), David Lindsay-Abaire (Lyricist), Jeanine Tesori (Composer) and Sutton Foster, who plays Fiona in SHREK THE MUSICAL on Broadway. Two winners will be chosen to play "Young Fiona" and "Teen Fiona."

The lucky winners will be flown to New York to rehearse with Sutton Foster and members of the show's creative team, have a costume fitting, and appear in a real performance of SHREK THE MUSICAL on Broadway.

The winners will be announced on September 10 and the finalists' videos will be featured on www.shrekthemusical.com for three weeks. At the September 19 evening performance the winners will perform their roles on Broadway.

SHREK THE MUSICAL features a book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire, music by Olivier Award-winner Jeanine Tesori, and is directed by Tony Award nominee Jason Moore. The new show opened at the Broadway Theatre on Sunday, December 14.

SHREK THE MUSICAL is an entirely new musical based on the story and characters from William Steig's book Shrek!, as well as the Dreamworks Animation film Shrek, the first chapter of the Shrek movie series.

SHREK THE MUSICAL tells the story of a swamp-dwelling ogre who goes on a life-changing adventure to reclaim the deed to his land. Joined by a wise-cracking donkey, this unlikely hero fights a fearsome dragon, rescues a feisty princess and learns that real friendship and true love aren't only found in fairy tales.
