Nick Vatterott to Headline Comix at Foxwoods, 7/23-25

Comix at Foxwoods will play host to the hysterical stand-up comedian and Andy Kaufman Award winner Nick Vatterott for a three-night, four-performance event beginning on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. and ending with his "Nasty Show" on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10:30 p.m.

In 2010, The Hollywood Reporter named Nick Vatterott one of the "break-outs" at Montreal's "Just for Laughs Comedy Festival." He simply stole the show. Vatterott's style is a harmonious blending of high-energy, improvisational, unconventional, and outside the box comedy. Essentially, on-stage, Vatterott does it all.

Since his "break-out" performance, Vatterott has catapulted himself as a mainstay in the stand-up comedy stratosphere. He's performed on late night TV shows including "Conan," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and has had his own half hour special on Comedy Central.

Vatterott has toured with Chicago's storied Second City and his sketch group "Heavyweight" has performed at Second City's "Unhinged," as well as the Toronto "Just for Laughs Festival."

In 2011, Vatterott was the recipient of the prestigious Andy Kaufman Award and before heading off to NYC to fully pursue his comedy career Chicago Magazine listed Vatterott as "The Funniest Man in Chicago."

When Vatterott isn't on-stage performing his sidesplitting routines, he also moonlights as a producer/writer/performer on Comedy Central's stand-up sketch hybrid show, "Mash-Up." The comedian is also the host of his self-titled podcast, "The Nick Vatterott Show," which can be downloaded on Soundcloud.com.
