Nick Di Paolo's honest and acerbic comedy has made him a sought after voice on stage, television and radio for years and earned him two Emmy Nominations for writing. His career took off after he appeared on "HBO's Young Comedian Special". He has since written and performed on four standup specials and four CDs. His most recent standup effort is a one-hour Showtime special entitled "Raw Nerve". The very funny Nick DiPaolo is coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, August 2, at 8 p.m. Bissell House (378 Main St., Ridgefield) is offering a free glass of house wine or draught beer with dinner the night of this show when tickets/stubs are presented. This event is part of the Clark Construction Comedy Series.
Nick DiPaolo has starred in numerous comedy shows, including Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Collin Quinn and several of their roasts most notably for Pamela Anderson, Denis Leary, Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy. DiPaolo's movie credits include Beer League, The Sopranos and The Chris Rock Show. His comedic pearls of wisdom even made it to the 77th Annual Academy Awards and the MTV Video Music Awards.
