NewFilmmakersNY will present a special film series of February 14th in celebration of Valentine's Day including the film TRUE LOVE and others. The full program includes:

6:00 PM First Short Program

Al Lewis TRUE LOVE
An aging, profane Cupid, about to retire, is tasked with teaching the rules of the job to a much younger, naive Cupid. Their current mission: to rekindle the love gone cold between a young couple.

Chance D. Muehleck SPONGE
A homeless girl and a solitary doctor make an unlikely connection.

What happens when an obsessive writer sees the character of his book stepping into the real world for vengeance?

Julian Renner THE THREE WAY
Mike arrives home to discover his girlfriend, Tasha, is back early. Chaos erupts when Tasha discovers some condoms and a love note in Mike's jacket. Mike insists its all a misunderstanding until an unexpected male friend arrives at the front door.

The NewFilmmakers NY Series screens at Anthology Film Archives on the Lower East Side at 32 Second Avenue & 2nd Street. Tickets for Wednesday at NewFilmmakers NY are only $6 and are available at the Anthology Box Office the night of screening.
