On Wednesday, May 5th (Cinco de Mayo) LATIN HORROR, in association with NEWFILMMAKERS, cordially invite you to the NewLatino Filmmakers Screening Series - "The HORRORphiles #5 - SANGRE!" Come out and have a horrific Cinco de Mayo by celebrating the work of emerging Latino/a directors working within the genre of horror, and join us for a free Reception. The NewFilmmakers NY Series screens at Anthology Film Archives on the Lower East Side at 32 Second Avenue & 2nd Street.

A series of murders in a town close to a salt mine - Santa Rosa de la Sal - leads athorities to a lonely teenager who works in his father's funeral home and spends his free time making crude, animated horror films - who's strange behavior makes him the main "person of interest" in the serial-like killings.
