New York Theatre Ballet presents Dance on a Shoestring at The Dance Gallery, 30 East 31st Street, 5th Floor, NYC. Performances are on Friday, November 1 at 7pm, and Saturday, November 2 at 3:30pm. Tickets are $15 on Friday and $30 for children and $20 for adults on Saturday, and are available at online at www.nytb.org, or at the door on the day of the show. The ticket price on Saturday includes a Halloween party following the performance with games, activities, meet and greet with the dancers and sweets. First come first serve. NYTB has produced its studio series, Dance on A Shoestring, for many years, which enables established and developing artists to try out new ideas. The performances are offered in a venue where the community groups can come to see high quality ballet offered by "their" neighborhood company at affordable prices.

Preview of Keith Michael's The Nutcracker

Waltz of the Flowers and the Grand Pas de Deux

L'Uno di Due (The One of Two)

Choreographed by Marco Pelle.

A solo, created in 2011 for Beatrice Carbone, ballerina with La Scala Theater inMilan, Italy.

Excerpt from Three Shades Of Blue

A work in progress with choreography by Dan Siretta and a new score by Lynn Crigler.

This work is centered around popular American dances from the early 20th Century

Two solos choreographed by students during NYTB's annual summer program.
