NEW YORK STREETS: A DOWN UNDER VIEW OF THE BIG APPLE- David Hinchliffe now on view through May 28th!

Due to the popularity of the Australian artist's first U.S. solo exhibition, we have decided to extend the show "New York Streets" through the end of the month!
We encourage you to stop by!

The exhibition features new oil paintings revealing views of everyday New York life from Hinchliffe's exciting and foreign perspective. His work captures the light, shade and shapes of the city teeming with familiar faces: traffic cops, doormen, street vendors, tourists, lovers and workers. These scenes are affectionately painted with a local's knowledge and are simultaneously infused with the exhilaration of a visitor.

A native of Brisbane, Australia, the artist considers New York his second home after briefly living in the city in the 1970s followed by frequent visits. Hinchliffe's thirty year career as a painter is complemented by his political involvement in local Australian government.

Please also join us for the annual SoHo Arts Walk launching Thursday, May 19th and continuing on the third Thursday of every month through September.
