New York Soul Sensation Kicks Off At The Time Out NY Lounge

Neil Totton, in association with The Time Out New York Lounge, will present New York Soul Sensation, a singing competition based on the truth that soul music has the power to transform and change lives by vocalists digging deep down to pull out performances that touch and captivate an audience - Sunday evenings at 9:30pm through March 13th, at the Time Out New York Lounge at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street (between Eighth & Ninth Avenues).

Trevor Allen is musical director and Neil Totton hosts with special guest mentors each week. Contestants will be mentored by accomplished industry professionals. Mentors will include recording artists Lea Lorien and Robin Clark, Broadway's Marva Hicks, Aisha DeHaas and Mykal Kilgore, and vocal genius Marlon Saunders

12 competitors have been chosen for the themed competition and the winner will be based on audience votes.

This competition is going to be inspiring and good for the soul! Upcoming evenings include:

03/06: Love Songs
03/13: Finale
