Broadway veterans Victoria Lecta Cave, Mike Longo*, and Antonio Suarez* round out the ensemble of Corpus, a new play by Jordan Stovall making its New York debut.
Synopsis: "The city air in February is thick with loneliness, I'll tell you something." In a run-down New York health spa, Renata, a brash fifty year old Serbian widow, finds an unusual kinship with Matthew, a twenty something who believes he's being visited by a dead lover. Their contrasting battles with loss and the fragility of love shed light on the human condition of grief as they battle ghosts from their past to find freedom.
Featuring the talent of: Victoria Lecta Cave (BWAY: 1998 Revival of Cabaret, The Who's Tommy, The Boy From Oz), Antonio Suarez* (BWAY: American Buffalo, TV: House of Cards, Law & Order, The Good Wife, One Life to Live, and more), Mike Longo* (BWAY: Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, NATL TOUR: Kinky Boots), Thomas DellaMonica* (Tribes Off-Broadway & La Jolla Playhouse), Michael DeSouza (OFF BWAY: Once Upon a Mattress), Daralyn Jay (FILM: award winning short Tobacco Burn), Jorge Acosta*, Griffeth Whitehurst*.
