The third annual New York New Work Theatre Festival at the Times Square Arts Centre (300 West 43rd Street) kicks off the Semifinals on Monday, September 19 with Starmites, the Six-Time Tony-Nominated Musical and continues with shows featuring some of the cast members of Wicked, Finding Neverland and Jersey Boys.

A seasoned panel of Broadway producers and Emmy Award winners who have mentored the participants, narrowed down the 30 semifinalists from 47 shows in the preliminary round that took place in August through early September. Each evening features a lineup of several diverse productions each 23 minutes in length, presented by top aspiring writers in their quest for the Broadway spotlight and seasoned Broadway and Off-Broadway performers who are exploring new creative outlets.
