In honor of the 30th annual New York Cares Coat Drive, New Yorkers will have the opportunity to drop off their coat donations in person at two different pop-up locations and get a closer look at how their donation will help those in need this winter. The Lincoln Center Plaza pop-up will take place from December 11th - December 15th, and the Union Square pop-up will take place from December 18th - December 22nd.
This year's pop-up shops will truly embody the ways in which New Yorkers support and care for one another. Quotes from previous coat drive recipients will be spread throughout both shops, sharing just how important and powerful the gift of a coat in winter can be. Individuals can write and attach notes to coats being donated, and send along a message of support and love to those who receiving new coats this winter.
