According to MacRumors, Apple has released the first beta of watchOS 3.2 for developers this morning. Included in this update is a new "Theater Mode" which is designed to allow users to disable some features, such as sound and Raise to Wake. This will prevent the watch from lighting up with arm movement.
The update is limited to developers at the moment, but MacRumors went hands-on with Theater Mode in the video to give people an idea of what they can expect.
Theater Mode will be able to be accessed by swiping up on the watch face, which brings up the Control Center. The icon feature the comedy and tragedy masks.
Although Theater Mode will prevent any sounds or light while enabled, notifications will still come through and be delivered via haptic feedback. The screen can still be accessed with a tap or through the press on the Digital Crown.
watchOS 3.2 is expected to be released to the public sometime in March.
