Ars Nova will present At Least It's Pink, a "trashy little show" about New York City life through the eyes of a girl from Manhattan, Kansas, who's never afraid to tell it like it is.

Written by songwriter Bridget Everett, Michael Patrick King and Kenny Mellman with original music by Mellman and Everett and directed by King, the show will begin previews on Tuesday, January 16 with an official press opening on Thursday, January 25 at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street).

Everett's previous performing credits include Neal Medlyn Plus Kenny Mellman Equals R. Kelly, the video for "New York, New York," the new single from Moby and Debbie Harry, The Murray Hill Show at Mo Pitkins, and host of Ars Nova's Automatic Vaudeville, as well as performances with the Isotoners, Jim Andralis and Larry Krone.  She has performed at Ars Nova, Joe's Pub and the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.

Mellman's work with Justin Bond in Kiki and Herb has earned him an Obie, a Bessie, a GLAAD Media Award, an HX Award and a Helen Hayes Award nomination.  Their off-Broadway show, Kiki and Herb, Coup de Theatre, was directed by Scott Elliot at the Cherry Lane Theater, and they recently completed their Broadway debut in Kiki and Herb Alive on Broadway, directed by themselves.  Kiki and Herb have performed at Carnegie Hall, Royal Festival Hall London, the Sydney Opera House, the Bonn Bienalle, the Bowery Ballroom and Knitting Factory, among many other venues.  He has performed his solo show, Kenny Mellman Is Grace Jones, in New York, Portland and London, and his show with Neal Medlyn, Kenny Mellman Plus Neal Medlyn Equals R Kelly, in New York and Portland, as part of the TBA Festival at the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art. Kiki and Herb will be touring the United States and the UK in 2007.
