The celebrity cast of DANCING WITH THE STARS are slipping into their ballroom shoes and getting ready for their first dance on MONDAY, MARCH 21 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network. The 22nd season's lineup of celebrity dancers includes a multi-platinum selling recording artist, a Peabody Award winner, a UFC fighter, and SUPER BOWL 50's MVP, and a Broadway veteran, ex-wife of Donald Trump Marla Maples!

Yes, it's true. Marla Maples starred in THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES, which played at Broadway's Palace Theatre in 1991. Directed and choreographed by Tommy Tune, the original cast included Keith Carradine as Rogers, Dee Hoty as Betty Blake, Dick Latessa as Will's father Clem, and Cady Huffman as Ziegfeld's favorite chorus girl. Huffman was later replaced by Maples. Another interesting fact - the recorded voice of Gregory Peck was heard as Ziegfeld. In 2011, Maples would go on to star in off-Broadway's LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE.

Today, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump commented on his ex-wife's upcoming appearance on DWTS telling PEOPLE,"I think it is wonderful. I am very happy for her and think she will do very well."

Maples hosted "Miss U.S.A.," "The MISS UNIVERSE Pageant," and co-hosted "Fox After Breakfast" with Tom Bergeron. Her single "House of Love," off her album "The Endless," features Deepak Chopra and LogiQ Pryce, and won the Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA) for best song in the Ambient/New Age category.

Marla has also appeared in over 15 films and has guest starred in numerous television series. Most recently she starred in the racially thought provoking film "Switching Lanes."
