New Novel Follows One Woman's Magical Search for Meaning After Divorce... Image A creative woman named Jude Bennett sets out on a murky yet magical search for meaning after her marriage ends and leaves her questioning her life, her immortality and where she truly belongs in Jan Groenemann’s new semi-autobiographical novel “Woman Alone: One Woman’s Journey through the Murky and Magical” (published by Balboa Press). The book is available for purchase at: https://www.amazon.com/Woman-Alone-Journey-Through-Magical-ebook/dp/B07CZXDJF7.

When Jude Bennett’s marriage ends she gains attention in the Chicago art scene where she focuses on her passion to help other struggling female artists. Although having completed her childhood dreams of becoming a wife, a mother and an artist, Jude feels incomplete. Following her mother’s unexpected death, she sets out on a quest to find herself. As her search takes her all over the world, Jude must learn to embrace her vulnerability, the joy of self-discovery and her purpose.

“Though we look to relationships, accomplishments, and many exterior pathways for fulfillment, happiness and meaning come only from within,” Groenemann says. “It is through learning to listen to that inner guide that we find the way.”
