The sound of Australian rock band INXS could soon hit Broadway.
According to The New York Post, the band's on-again-off-again manager, Chris Murphy, has confirmed he and the guys behind such hits as "Need You Tonight," "Kick," "Don't Change" and more, are in talks with an unnamed director to a bring a musical featuring the band's catalog to the stage.
"A lot of bands have a sound, and they just keep to it . . . It's monotone," Murphy said, on why INXS' distinct set of tracks might lend itself well to a full theatrical piece. "The depth of [INXS'] catalog is quite unique."
