This monthly music series is being introduced and hosted by Horsetrade productions and music event producer Salli Squitieri bringing both up and coming and renowned performing artists of all genres from near and far to these two historically rich funky chic unique east village flavored theatres.

With so many of the smaller venues disappearing this series not only helps to fill a void by creating a new forum for musicians, but likewise offers the regional clientele the experience of an off the beaten path, nostalgic and intimate music sojourn. Many of the performers who are eager to be part of this series and help kick start it are specifically customizing their shows and designing performances just for this series.

The first presentation was a sold out show featuring New York Blues Hall of Fame Inductee Singer/Songwriter Marc Black-Life One Song at a time taking the audience footstep by foot step Marc's life via song presentation, New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee singer/ songwriter Marc Black , will be performing his collection of new and old classic songs in his new engaging one man show , "LIFE...ONE SONG AT A TIME", an all American, rollicking confessional Marc has performed and recorded with many luminaries including Art Garfunkel, Rick Danko, Richie Havens, Taj Mahal and Pete Seeger. He was chosen by Levon Helm to play one of the Midnight Rambles and was recently named Folk Artist of the Year on ABC Radio. As legendary folk artist, Happy Traum, put it, 'Marc is a master...spreading the joy of music with story and song'. This is just one example of the high caliber performers and shows that are in store for everyone.

As this series evolves the hope is to bring in name performers to create a new hot spot in the east village for some very dynamic and high caliber performances. We are reaching out to an array of talent and have projections for a variety of performers and shows.

These events will also include free door prize drawings adding a fun element to the evening. To name just a few upcoming acts for the near horizon include NY'svery own-- Three Pints Shy, Blues Hall of Fame Inductee--Marc Black, Traveling from Georgia Folk artists---Benson & Leinweber, Award winning Vincentian Soca Artist-- Maddzart, Elliott Levin, American toruing artist--Grant Peeples, Haitianblues and Jazz artist--Paul Beaubrun, Brazilan artist--Tulio Arurjo and many more.

However, the group is continually exploring the plethora of talent and working to present a multicultural and abundant array of styles from Blues, Folk, Jazz, Avant-garde, Americana, Soca and more for an exciting and memorable experience for all age groups and all walks of life. Salli Squitieri is also implementing as part of the Music Series a monthly festive Caribbean Night that will be launched by Soca Artist --Maddzart from St Vincent and the Grenadines.
