New KINKY BOOTS 'Land Of Lola' Remix Single

A radio edit single version of a dance-floor-worthy remix of the KINKY BOOTS show-stopper "Land Of Lola" by Wayne G & LFB, showcasing Billy Porter on lead vocals, is now available, in addition to the full-length version that was released a few months back.

The catchy remix uses a track from the Tony Award-winning 2013 Best Musical's hit cast album and features Best Actor In a Musical Billy Porter performing the spectacular and oh-so fabulous Cyndi Lauper earworm as only he can, virtually and sonically embodying Lola.

"Not just cookie-cutter kitsch," indeed!

"Land Of Lola" is one of many memorable and ear-grabbing new tunes penned for the screen-to-stage adaptation of the 2005 British indie film by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, who took home a 2013 Best Score Tony Award for her efforts on the musical collaboration with playwright, actor and activist Harvey Fierstein and director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell.

The official description of Kinky Boots is as follows: "Charlie Price (Tony nominee Stark Sands) has suddenly inherited his father's shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father's legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola (Tony winner Billy Porter). A fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos, Lola turns out to be the one person who can help Charlie become the man he's meant to be. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world.
