Emmett Foster, Rich Merritt , Sean Kennedy and Robert Kahn will join Steven Fales, author and star of the hit Off-Broadway solo play Confessions of a Mormon Boy, on April 10th, April 17th, April 24th, and May 1st, respectively, for post-show talkbacks.

They are the first in a line of special guests who will join  Fales for the post-show
Monday Night Talkback series at Confessions of a Mormon Boy. Foster - who will join Fales on Monday, April 10th - is known for his solo show Emmet: A One Mormon Show, which played at the Public Theatre. Merritt, who will join Fales on Monday, April 17th, is known as the author of the New York Times bestseller Secrets of a Gay Porn Star. Kennedy, who will join Fales on Monday, April 24th, is the Associate News Editor for The Advocate, the national gay and lesbian news magazine; he profiled Fales in a cover story for HX Magazine. Kahn, who will join Fales on Monday, May 1st, is the Theater and Features writer for Newsday.

Confessions of a Mormon Boy, which is directed by Tony Award-winner Jack Hofsiss (The Elephant Man) opened on February 5th after giving its first preview performance on January 27th off-Broadway at the Soho Playhouse (15 Vandam St.); it is playing an open run. "An inspiring true story told through humor, song and the Book of Mormon, Fales' critically acclaimed solo play explores one young man's captivating journey through excommunication, divorce, prostitution and drugs, as he struggles to reclaim himself, his children and his 'Donny Osmond' smile," state press notes.

Prior to its current Off-Broadway incarnation, Confessions of a Mormon Boy started as a stand-up comedy routine in Manhattan. The full play first premiered to sold-out crowds in Salt Lake City in 2001 and after playing successful developmental runs across the country, received an Overall Excellence Award at the 2004 New York International Fringe Festival.

The production features set and lighting design by Tim Saternow (Squonk) and costume design by Ellis Tillman (Urban Cowboy). The running time is 90 minutes with no intermission.

The show performs Mondays at 7pm (with Monday night talkbacks immediately following the performance), Wednesdays through Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 and 7 p.m. For ticket information, call the Soho Playhouse box office at 212-691-1555 or visit online at www.sohoplayhouse.com or www.mormonboy.com.
