New Filmmakers New York presents Murder Dance an April 11th.
We're all messed up.
One hot summer a wave of violence does little to impact the insular world of artists and personalities in a Brooklyn neighborhood. The constant desire for sex, materialism and technology distracts and dulls the senses of a community, leaving them vulnerable to a murderer amongst them.
Murder Dance is both a drama and a social satire. Artistic, colorful characters banter back and forth in a grafitti-splattered backdrop that could not be anywhere else but New York City. Today’s apathetic youth are the study of this film. Murder becomes a symptom of the disease they are all afflicted with.
The screening of Murder Dance is on Tuesday, April 11th at 9:45PM at Anthology Film Archives, 32 Second Avenue & 2nd Street, New York City.
