New Feminist Play THE HYSTERIA TRIPTYCH Seeks Transformative Social Change ImageIn May 2018 at the Rialto Theatre Studio, Montreal indie theatre company Odd Stumble, who most recently turned The Rialto into a living museum of art and performance, will bring you the first staged exploration of The Hysteria Triptych; a play about three women who want more.

In The Hysteria Triptych, 3 women try to transform their female bodies into something other than:
object of desire.

mother.

property.

The poetic play explores the costs of having a female body and the ways in which the "female condition" of hysteria has punished, controlled and oppressed those who throw stones in system wheels. Those who desperately try to break free.
