Music Theatre International (MTI) has just announced the launch of E-perusals, its newest resource to assist theatre companies and schools in selecting their next production.
When an organization requests an E-perusal, they will receive an email that linking them an online hosting website, Watchdox, where they can view the entire libretto for the selected musicals requested. These E-perusals are digital versions of the printed librettos that are searchable. After registering on Watchdox, customers will have up to six weeks to make a decision.
"MTI is thrilled to capitalize on the latest technology in order to make selecting a musical even easier for our customers," stated Drew Cohen, President of MTI. "Because E-Perusals can be shared with up to six people, organizations deciding on their next MTI show can seamlessly make sure everyone on the reading committee gets a copy quickly and efficiently. It saves time, shipping costs and gives people the option to read our scripts on many different devices and in many different ways."
E-perusals are a convenient way to share possible musical choices with a reading committee to help select the perfect musical. In just a few minutes the email addresses for the committee can be added and they will each receive an individual email linking them to the E-perusals under consideration. They can be viewed on multiple platforms, including desktop/laptop, tablets, and smart phones. Desktop and laptop applications require internet connection to view the perusals. There is also a Watchdox app available for tablets and smart phones (both iPhone, Android and Blackberry) which has the ability to save your perusals for offline viewing.
