New Comedy From Queer Collective, Not Without Rage, Puts Women On Top Image

Pop your preconceived notions of gender roles and queer identity. a sex thing (or a bunch of liberals getting uptight about the sociopolitical implications of their desires) tickles and titillates your already "woke" self with a hearty laugh and a frank look at how our fetishes are tied to our true feelings.

While trying to strike the perfect balance between a healthy relationship and a satisfying sex life, two couples struggle to reconcile what they need to "get off" with how they want to present themselves to the world. In a refreshingly real look at the all-too-familiar exchanges between new lovers and established partners, a sex thing (or a bunch of liberals getting uptight about the sociopolitical implications of their desires) follows two couples as they wrestle with communication and compromise both in and out of the bedroom. Their greatest obstacle? Saying exactly what they want.

After a successful run in 2015, queer collective Not Without Rage has been invited to remount a sex thing (or a bunch of liberals getting uptight about the sociopolitical implications of their desires) as a part of HERE's Sublet Series. Written by Kati Frazier and directed by Corinne Woods, the production will run as a limited engagement for 4 shows only, August 31st through September 2nd with two showings on September 1st.

General Admission tickets are available for $15.  Click here to purchase.
