New Audio Theater Version of 'A Christmas Carol' Online Today

A new audio theater version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is the featured launch product for WYD Media Management's new online consumer entertainment digital destination, Spoken Word America. The new production, written and directed by Night Kitchen Radio Theater founder Arthur Yorinks debuts today as a www.SpokenWordAmerica.com download before becoming widely available on iTunes and Amazon.com.

The cast for Night Kitchen Radio Theater's A Christmas Carol features Broadway's: Peter Gerety, Richard Muenz, Alice Playten, with Ivy Austin, Steven Rattazzi, Greg Hildreth and introducing Nikki Hislop. Nine performers from the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts Concert Choir join the cast and also sing an original song: "Christmas Time," written for the production by Edward Barnes and Arthur Yorinks.

This original A Christmas Carol production is the first in a series of works developed in partnership between Night Kitchen Radio Theater and WYD Media Management aimed specifically at "new media" listening audiences. Spoken Word America downloads can be played on iPods, computers, and any device playing mp3 audio.
