New Addition to Science Fiction Book Series Further Explores Growing... Image Donald Morgan Edwards has challenged students at the high school and collegiate level to think creatively for the past 37 years. An instructor of math and science, an assignment he gave his students to explore what life would be like living in a biodome sparked his interest in writing his science fiction series and the anticipated second book in the series, “Kairos: Quest for a New World.”

In this installment, a ship full of new colonists arrive at the planet Kairos 15 years after the arrival of the first human colonist ship. These arrivals soon discover what life is like on Kairos and study the dangerous creatures that roam the planet and threaten their safety. While the colony continues their goal of expansion, newfound developments and obstacles challenge their goal of obtaining safe life for all on Kairos.

Edwards is no stranger to the world of space exploration. As a frequent attender of a variety of science workshops and conventions, he stays up-to-date on current developments in space exploration. His knowledge of science, physics and space excursions has resulted in this thrilling story that portrays what life could be like as a human inhabitant on a new planet.

“My aim is to create an interest in future space travel and to develop a realistic imagination of what could be accomplished in the not so distant future,” said Edwards. “’Kairos’ is a book of fiction but I’ve based it on the advancement of present technology.”

An outstanding addition to the series, “Kairos: Quest for a New World” will captivate readers with its engaging characters, action-packed encounters, new romances, and its authentic portrayal of the potential of human space exploration on distant planets.
