The New York Neo-Futurists will present two upcoming theatrical events.

A Neo-Futurist Musical Romp will take place on September 26th at 8 PM. That evening, the groups will attempt 30 musical plays in 60 minutes. The performance will be at the People's Improv Theater, 154 W. 29th Street, 2nd Fl. (between 6th & 7th Aves.).  The show will feature strange creatures, singing kidney stones, and the rush of an incessantly ticking clock.

Also this month, The 24Seven Lab and the New York Neo-Futurists will join forces to present an evening of six 10-minute plays called The 6-Pack. "All plays are set on the stage in front of the audience. All of the characters are themselves. All of their stories really happened."

The 6-Pack will premiere on September 24th at 3 PM and September 25th at 8 PM. Performance are at the Kraine Theater, located at 85 East Fourth Street, between 2nd & 3rd Avenue (there is no wheelchair access).

The New York Neo-Futurists are known for their long-running show Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind, "a gallant attempt to perform 30 original plays in 60 minutes, selected in random order by the audience."  Too Much Light... is currently nominated for two New York Innovative Theatre Awards.

Tickets are $5 for A Neo-Futurist Musical Romp and $10 for The 6-Pack.  They are available at the door, or at www.theatermania.com. For more information, please visit www.nyneofuturists.org.
