On Saturday, February 27, the innovative dance theater company, Neo-Political Cowgirls, will kick off their winter season by presenting their annual theatrical scavenger hunt, ZIMA! Partnering once again with The Montauk Playhouse, NPC is in their 6th year delivering this cold-season favorite. "The word 'Zima' is Polish for winter," said Kate Mueth, NPC Artistic Director and Founder, "so the backdrop for this performance couldn't be more fitting." ZIMA! will be an interactive winter journey, combining mystery, poetry, theater and exploration. Participants will be given various clues while watching vignettes along their way through town and attempt to solve the given mystery. ZIMA! uses the elements of the outdoors to invite the audience to embrace the season and enjoy its unique qualities. The journey begins at the Village Green in Montauk. From 1:00-3:00 PM, groups will depart every 20 minutes with the final group leaving at 2:40 PM. All tickets can be purchased at the event on the green at $5 per person. Perfect for all ages.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 2 - March 3, girls can join Kate Mueth in the Neo-Political Young Cowgirls Girls Speak Theater Workshop. In the workshop, girls ages 8-12 and 13-15 explore issues they care about through exercises, journaling, and theater games to create their own mini-dance theater pieces that they direct and perform. Anything goes! Movement, dance, text, props! A safe, fun and free environment to support girls in their unique voices and creative expression. Tuesdays and Thursdays, February 2 - March 3 from 4:40-6pm. To sign up, please contact 631-324-4051 or jennifer@guildhall.org.

In March, the Neo-Political Cowgirls will be offering a sneak peek into their newest production in- development, ANDROMEDA. For a special one night only event, audiences will get an inside look on this immersive, modern myth piece and how Kate Mueth and her company develop new work. The evening will take place at The John Drew Theater Lab at Guild Hall in East Hampton at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, March 22nd. Attendance is free for all participants.

Kate Mueth will also be directing the rock opera PLAYING GOD at the Gloria Theater in Helsinki, Finland this April. PLAYING GOD stars Mountain drummer (of "Mississippi Queen" fame) Corky Laing, and a slew of international rockers. PLAYING GOD made its American debut last spring at The Danny Kaye Playhouse in NYC.
